Today at lunch time my sister took me down to the local Panera Bread restaurant. I have only been there a couple of times before, and I usually just buy a snack, like a piece of cake or a muffin of some kind. Not being a big fan of coffee, I tend to avoid coffee shoppes. So my sister ordered some coffee beverage, and I didn’t know what to order for myself. I really didn’t feel like any of the drinks on the menu.

I ended up ordering a small bowl of broccoli and cheese soup. The gave me a piece of bread with the soup but charged me almost an entire extra dollar for the slice of bread. The soup was delicious, but for the amount of money I paid I really expected a larger amount. I’m not complaining, I had enough to eat. Well, OK, I guess I am complaining – for the amount of food I received I think that the prices were too high.

Is it true that there are more California Lemon law lawyers than any other state? My sister was telling me that because California has stricter environmental health laws that the cars sold out there have stricter performance and emission requirements. Well, I guess that would make sense to me. Sometimes I wonder how it is that the consumers and voters in California managed to influence the political machine in California to make those stricter laws to be passed. The reason being that I thought California was a conservative state – after all their last governor was Arnold S. right?

So I’m thinking that if the laws regarding emissions and performance are stricter in California than any other state, then perhaps career minded young law students should consider becoming California Lemon Law attorneys and move out to California. As car manufacturers are trying to lower their costs I think that the market will find a lot more lemons on the market. Don’t you agree?
