Yesterday was the first day that I actually worked the first shift since my schedule was changed last week. That first shift was a real eye-opener on exactly how much the other girls there are work are NOT team players! When I work the later shifts I give the earlier techs a lot of support, getting the stock bottles for them and counting the pills out, helping them to label and fill. I did not get any of that help from them at all!
So it was pretty hectic, with me having to do more of the load than I’m used to, but I managed just fine. Later in the day the pharmacist asked me how I liked the earlier shift and asked me if I felt any pressure doing the early shift. I told him that yes, there was pressure but all jobs have pressure, and I liked the shift just fine. I might just cut back on how much I help the other ladies in the future though!

I don’t blame you a bit, I’d cut back on helping them out too! What’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander!
