Got an email from one of my brothers telling me that he just had an unfortunate run in with a deer.
He was driving home late in the night in his brand new big $$$$ car, and saw two deer in the road. Yes, he was driving too fast, and no, he didn’t slow down enough.
Long story short, he swerved to miss the deer, but one deer decided to “fake him out” and ran into the side of my brother’s new car.
The deer was injured, but ran off. The car was damaged, but my brother was not hurt, just very angry that his new car was damaged. He got out of the car to inspect the damage, and after he got out of the car he realized he had not taken it out of gear, so he ended up chasing his driver-less car down the road trying to hop back into it to stop it. He’s lucky he caught it!
What a misadventure!
