I’ve been training in a store that is not the permanent location that I’m assigned to.  It was nice because it is a slow store and a large store and the people there were wonderful.  I started work in my assigned location today.  I was really glad that I’ve had some good training under my belt; I felt like I hit the ground running!  There is still a lot to learn, I know, and I’m not as fast as the folks that have been working there several months, or even years, but I know that I was useful today just the same.  I was anxious about how well I’d get along with the folks there, but they all seem pleasant enough, so that’s good.  What is strange is how cramped the space is, I’m always bumping into something!  And the temperature of the space is a lot colder; I’m going to have to dress warmer from now on!
