I know it’s a day late, but I was so busy yesterday getting the house and food ready for the big family meal, and then actually DOING the family meal that I didn’t get the chance to get online and check my email, or do anything at all!  So belated wishes to all of you out there!  My family meal went very well.  My parents came over, bringing with them a lot of the food – a great roast pork, corn pudding, black eyed peas, and a dump cake.  I provided the appetizers, salad, green beans, dinner rolls, mashed potatoes, and ice cream.  My sister and one of her daughters joined us for dinner.  After dinner we played games for a while before everyone went home.  We all had a good time; I wish we had the time to get together and do this kind of thing more often!  But everyone’s work schedule is crazy, so it is hard to coordinate that sort of thing.
