I had to work today, but it was only a half day.  My boss was generous enough to let me only work from 9-1 every day this week so I can spend afternoons visiting with my son.  That works out great because by the time I get home my son is just getting out of bed.  He never used to be a night owl before going to college, but he is now!  So it has been nice being able to come home early and visit with him a while before I have to go to bed!  I don’ think I’m going to try to stay up until midnight, though; I haven’t done that in years!  Besides, I’m having a big family dinner here on New Years Day, and I need to get some rest!
